Privacy notice

Last updated 22 October 2026. This is our plain-language policy. It is being reviewed by our lawyer and may be updated before full launch.

What we collect

  • Customers: name, email, phone, booking addresses and times, and notes you give us.
  • Providers: identity and licence documents, guarantor details and bank details, for vetting and payment.
  • How the site is used, without names or contact details.

Why

To arrange and carry out bookings, check that providers are licensed and safe, pay providers, prevent fraud and meet our legal duties under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023.

Who sees it

The provider covering your booking gets the details they need for the job: your contact name, phone, address and times. Our payment, email and hosting providers process data for us under contract. We never sell personal data.

Guards’ photos

Agencies give us the name, phone number, role and photo of each guard they send on jobs, and confirm the guard has agreed. Customers see only the first name and photo of the guards on their own job, from the day before it until it ends, on their booking page and by email. The team lead’s phone number is shared too. Links to photos stop working shortly after the job, but an email a customer has already received stays in their inbox. We delete a guard’s photo as soon as their agency removes them. A guard can ask us to remove them at any time.

How long we keep it

Booking records: 6 years, for accounting. Provider identity documents: deleted 12 months after a provider leaves. You can ask us to delete your account at any time, except records we must keep by law.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. Email hello@olusohq.com. You can also complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission.
